Available Birds

Weaned and Ready - These are hand-reared, well socialized baby birds that are eager to join your loving family. While these "babies" are at the age where they are physically nourishing themselves (with a well balanced diet), they will look to you (their parent) for emotional nourishment. Most of their personality and behavior will be established (with your caring guidance) as you continue to provide for your baby during his/her juvenile year(s). All weaned and ready birds are available in our store.

Unweaned (Accepting Deposits) - These babies are still being hand-reared and socialized. They are still too young to physically nourish themselves without careful monitoring, handfeeding and socialization. Our professional, experienced approach to the weaning process ensures that all of our babies adapt to self-feeding in the most natural, least stressful way. This is an ideal time to purchase or reserve your baby bird, since we are able to socialize your baby to the environment that they will soon be joining. Just one example, if you already have a pet bird(s), we can socialize your baby with other birds to reduce the stress your baby would encounter when he/she arrives at your home. All unweaned babies are kept in our nursery until they are weaned and ready. Then they either go to their new homes or are made available in our store.
